Overview

The trail lays in the Ramechhap District, 130 km east of Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu and offers you a great inside view to the cultural, linguistic and ethnic diversity of Nepal as well a beautiful natural landscape bound by the Sailung Peak, the Sun Koshi and Tama Koshi River. It is a relatively pleasant, top-down, gentle trek fit for all categories of trekkers and particularly suited to visitors wishing to avoid extreme high altitudes, the trail takes visitors from a starting elevation of 3’146 m at Sailung to 533 m at Lubughat of Koshi River basin.
