For the promotion of village tourism in Nepal, VITOF Nepal operate farm trip, basic training on tourism, orientation on government plans, programs and policy. It takes helps from NTB, NTHAM, TGDB and various tourism related association and their entrepreneurs in collaboration with NTB, GON different WTD, ghumfhir Year 2073, visit Nepal 2011, and in its AGM, declares new home stay destination, e.g., Chitlang Makawanpur, Jhing Myagdi, Dumshi Darai Tanahu, Kaulepani Lamjung, Bhada Kailali, etc. It holds periodic seminar, talk programs, disseminations presentation such as Jumla-Rara trek, Tharu home stays visit, Dhorpatan Hunting reserve, Tanahunsur, etc. VITOF Nepal helps to publish brochure of different home stays, annual calendar, books, news letter and encourages with small incentives awards cash prize scribes (Amrit Bhadgaule, Yogesh Dhakal) to write article on different destinations plus visits. It had annual book publications in the past. It appreciates few outstanding personalities (contributors) few to name- Prof. Dr. Gun Nidhi Sharma former vice chair man of NPC, Austrian Prof. Rubert A. Huber, S. B. Pradhanang, Prof. Dr. Prem Sharma, HOD of CDRD TU.
